Ponnala Sucks

Sri.Ponnala lakshmaiah was born to Sri Rama Kishtaiah on 15th February, 1944. His educational qualification is B.E., M.S. (USA). His profession is Politics. He was elected to the Assembly from the Janagam Constituency in Warangal District for 3 terms. He has widely traveled all over the world. He has held several public offices such as Minister of State during 1991-92 and 2004-09. He was married to Smt. Aruna Devi and has two sons.
I googled his name and got this information. I am impressed by his educational achievements and feel proud to have well educated person like him in politics. He is a BC leader. I give a damn to caste. Well educated, man of the world, person like him should not tender his resignation along with all other Ministers under coercion from JACT in meaningless manner. He was also irrigation minister in previous government, he knows very well about Jalayagnam projects. Why does he not speak up one way or the other? Was YSR wrong? He should oppose then.
Points in favor of Polavaram: It utilizes mostly flood waters that are going to seas for time immemorial. By building 150ft dam, they intend to divert upto 80 TMC of water into Krishna below NS project. So, this water can be well utilized by lower elevation lands, and leave more water in NS to be utilized by lift irrigation projects. Besides Vizag, Godavari districts, Krishna, Guntur, Ongole & Kadapa can gain from this. Nearly 50% of water enters Godavari much after proposed locations for Ichampally to be noted. So by Polavaram one is not doing any injustice to Upper lands called T. Benign thoughts!
But the point is why wasn’t Ichampally taken up with same veracity? Why were other dam sites or reduced capacity projected taken up in its place. People have right to know.
Who should answer this question from Government of AP? Is it not the Minister for Irrigation, the well educated Minister? Why does he shy away and just simply go by TRS threats? Does he not realize that he is from National Party Congress which is supposed stay above regional biases? For me he is not a T leader, a BC leader etc, he is well educated Congress man. He needs to stand up and speak. Explain if government is wrong, and it is wrong, since he is minister for irrigation from 2004. Should have protested long ago and walked away. Why does he wake up only when KCR fasts?
